The Harker Heights Knights JROTC archery team sent 14 archers to the 2026 Texas National Archery in the Schools Program Tournament March 20-21 at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio. The Knights scored 2,992 points, just higher than their qualifying score in January. The team was led by Mervin Narito with a score of 274, Aaliyah Johnson with 273 and Jackson Thomas with 272. Johnson and Kaleb Ngyuen were selected to the Texas Region V All-Region Team. Congratulations to the Knights Battalion archery team!

Killeen ISD will host a Living Well Aware Parent Meeting to provide middle school parents with an overview of the district’s Sexual Health and Child Abuse Curriculum. The virtual session, led by Dr. Patricia Sulak, will take place March 24, 2026, from 5:00–5:30 p.m. via Zoom. Parents will have the opportunity to learn about the curriculum and how it supports student safety and well-being.
